Printing guide
A few simple settings make the pages easier to print and use. Start with one test page before printing the whole pack.
1. Save your files
After successful payment, follow the link in your download email and save your download package. It contains the A4 and US Letter PDFs in color and ink-saving editions. Open or extract the package before choosing your PDF.
Opening the download package (.zip):
- iPhone or iPad: Find the package in the Files app and tap it to create a folder containing the PDFs.
- Android: Open the package in your file manager or Files by Google and choose Extract.
- Windows: Right-click the package and select Extract All.
- Mac: Double-click the package to open its contents.
Open your chosen PDF in a PDF reader rather than printing directly from an email preview. Keep the extracted files somewhere easy to find for future printing.
2. Choose the matching file

Color and ink-saving editions contain the same worksheets. The ink-saving edition uses less color; it still needs some ink or toner.
3. Set up your printer
- Select the same paper size as your PDF: A4 or US Letter.
- Choose Portrait orientation.
- Start with Actual Size / 100% scaling. Avoid borderless enlargement.
- Use standard single-sided printing unless you prefer double-sided pages. For portrait double-sided printing, try flip on long edge.
- Select the page you want and print one test copy. Check the edges, writing space and reverse side before continuing.
Ordinary white printer paper works well. For a sturdier page, choose a heavier paper only if your printer supports it. Colors may vary between screens, printers and paper types.
4. Print only what you need
Use the page-range option in your PDF reader to print an individual worksheet or selected pages. You do not need to print the full pack every time. Write on the printed pages and reprint fresh copies for personal use within your household.
If something looks wrong
The edges are cut off
Check that the file and paper sizes match. Turn off borderless printing. If your printer cannot print the page at 100% without clipping, try Fit to printable area and check a test page; this slightly reduces the layout.
The print is too small or has unexpected margins
Check that you selected one page per sheet, portrait orientation and the correct paper size. Use Actual Size / 100% to avoid unintended scaling.
The PDF will not open or prints incorrectly
Download the file again, then open the saved file in a PDF reader. If an email or browser preview has trouble, use the PDF reader's own print dialog. If the problem continues, contact us with your order number and filename.
Can a print shop print it for me?
Yes, you can use a print service for copies for personal use within your household. Ask for the matching A4 or US Letter size at 100%, and request a test page first. Printing costs are separate from your digital purchase.
These are printable PDFs for handwriting. They are not editable or fillable, and the budgeting pages do not calculate automatically.
